Uceris (budesonide rectal foam)

Uceris (budesonide) rectal foam is a glucocorticosteroid indicated for the induction of remission in patients with active mild to moderate distal ulcerative colitis extending up to 40 cm from the anal verge.

The drug is often used to treat Ulcerative colitis .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • vomiting,
  • fever,
  • lightheadedness,
  • chills,
  • body aches,
  • tiredness,
  • flu symptoms,
  • slow wound healing,
  • increased body hair,
  • muscle weakness,
  • mood changes,
  • menstrual changes, and
  • sexual changes
  • acne,
  • thinning skin,
  • skin discoloration,
  • weight gain in your face and shoulders,
  • swelling in your ankles,
