Tarpeyo (budesonide delayed release capsules)

Tarpeyo (budesonide) is a corticosteroid indicated to reduce proteinuria in adults with primary immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN) at risk of rapid disease progression, generally a urine protein-to-creatinine ratio (UPCR) ≥ 1.5 g/g.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- lightheadedness,
- vomiting,
- weakness,
- tiredness,
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- easy bruising,
- impotence,
- acne,
- thinning skin,
- pain or burning when you urinate,
- bruising,
- stretch marks,
- swelling in your ankles,
- increased body fat, and
- changes in the shape or location of body fat (especially in your face, neck, back, and waist)
- increased acne or facial hair,
- rectal bleeding,
- menstrual problems,
- loss of interest in sex (in men),
