Symbicort (budesonide and formoterol fumarate dihydrate) is a combination of a steroid and a long-acting bronchodilator used to prevent bronchospasm in people with asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

The drug is often used to treat Asthma , Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • fever,
  • lightheadedness,
  • chills,
  • body aches,
  • tiredness,
  • chest pain,
  • fluttering in your chest,
  • blurred vision,
  • constipation,
  • dry mouth,
  • wheezing,
  • nervousness,
  • weakness,
  • vomiting
  • unusual tiredness,
  • increased thirst,
  • increased urination,
  • fruity breath odor,
  • muscle weakness,
  • irregular heartbeats,
  • fast or pounding heartbeats,
  • tremors,
  • tunnel vision,
  • seeing halos around lights,
  • cough with mucus,
  • leg cramps,
  • numbness or tingling,
  • limp feeling,
  • choking,
  • sores or white patches in your mouth or throat,
  • nausea, and
  • eye pain or redness,
  • pain when swallowing,
  • feeling short of breath,
  • worsening breathing problems,
  • other breathing problems,
