Cycloset (bromocriptine mesylate tablets)

Cycloset (bromocriptine mesylate) is a dopamine receptor agonist used together with diet and exercise to treat type 2 (non-insulin dependent) diabetes. Cycloset is not for treating type 1 diabetes.

The drug is often used to treat Diabetes .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • headache,
  • dizziness,
  • vomiting,
  • diarrhea,
  • loss of appetite,
  • stomach pain,
  • upset stomach,
  • depression,
  • drowsiness,
  • insomnia,
  • stuffy nose,
  • spinning sensation,
  • feeling weak or tired,
  • constipation, or
  • cold feeling or numbness in your fingers.
