Briviact (brivaracetam) is an antiepileptic drug (AED) indicated as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial-onset seizures in patients 16 years of age and older with epilepsy.
The drug is often used to treat Epilepsy .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- fever,
- lightheadedness,
- dizziness,
- dry mouth,
- cough,
- noisy breathing,
- restlessness,
- chest pain or pressure,
- fast or shallow breathing,
- mood changes,
- drowsiness,
- irregular heartbeat,
- anxiety,
- trouble sleeping,
- thoughts of self-harm,
- irritability,
- unusual drowsiness,
- spinning sensation,
- difficulty swallowing,
- double vision,
- general feeling of unwellness,
- numbness of feet, hands, and around mouth,
- sleepiness,
- unusually long or deep sleep,
- reddening of the skin, especially around the ears,
- shakiness, and
- poor coordination or muscle control
