Tecartus (brexucabtagene autoleucel suspension)

Tecartus (brexucabtagene autoleucel) is a CD19-directed genetically modified autologous T cell immunotherapy used to treat adult patients with relapsed or refractory mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- rash,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- shortness of breath,
- chills,
- constipation,
- musculoskeletal pain,
- headache,
- low blood pressure (hypotension),
- fatigue,
- cough,
- irregular heartbeats,
- insomnia,
- tremor,
- fast heart rate,
- infection,
- decreased appetite,
- cytokine release syndrome,
- fluid retention (edema),
- encephalopathy,
- low blood oxygen (hypoxia),
- motor dysfunction,
- fluid around the lungs (pleural effusion), and
- problems speaking and understanding language (aphasia)
