Tecartus (brexucabtagene autoleucel suspension)

Tecartus (brexucabtagene autoleucel) is a CD19-directed genetically modified autologous T cell immunotherapy used to treat adult patients with relapsed or refractory mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • rash,
  • diarrhea,
  • fever,
  • shortness of breath,
  • chills,
  • constipation,
  • musculoskeletal pain,
  • headache,
  • low blood pressure (hypotension),
  • fatigue,
  • cough,
  • irregular heartbeats,
  • insomnia,
  • tremor,
  • fast heart rate,
  • infection,
  • decreased appetite,
  • cytokine release syndrome,
  • fluid retention (edema),
  • encephalopathy,
  • low blood oxygen (hypoxia),
  • motor dysfunction,
  • fluid around the lungs (pleural effusion), and
  • problems speaking and understanding language (aphasia)
