Braftovi (encorafenib capsules)

Braftovi (encorafenib) is a kinase inhibitor indicated, in combination with binimetinib, for the treatment of patients with unresectable or metastatic melanoma with a BRAF V600E or V600K mutation, as detected by anFDA-approved test.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • shortness of breath,
  • dizziness,
  • fluttering in your chest,
  • headache,
  • weakness,
  • vision changes,
  • eye pain,
  • bloody or tarry stools,
  • fast or pounding heartbeats,
  • sudden dizziness,
  • seeing halos around lights,
  • coughing up blood, and
  • vomit that looks like coffee grounds
  • nosebleeds,
  • severe skin rash,
  • swelling of the eye,
  • seeing color “dots” in your vision,
  • skin pain or swelling,
  • redness and peeling skin on your hands or feet,
  • rectal bleeding,
