Braftovi (encorafenib capsules)
type of Antineoplastics BRAF Kinase Inhibitor
Braftovi (encorafenib) is a kinase inhibitor indicated, in combination with binimetinib, for the treatment of patients with unresectable or metastatic melanoma with a BRAF V600E or V600K mutation, as detected by anFDA-approved test.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- shortness of breath,
- dizziness,
- fluttering in your chest,
- headache,
- weakness,
- vision changes,
- eye pain,
- bloody or tarry stools,
- fast or pounding heartbeats,
- sudden dizziness,
- seeing halos around lights,
- coughing up blood, and
- vomit that looks like coffee grounds
- nosebleeds,
- severe skin rash,
- swelling of the eye,
- seeing color “dots” in your vision,
- skin pain or swelling,
- redness and peeling skin on your hands or feet,
- rectal bleeding,
