Bosulif (bosutinib tablets)

type of Antineoplastic Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors

Bosulif (bosutinib) is a kinase inhibitor used to treat adult patients with chronic accelerated or blast phase Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) with resistance or intolerance to prior therapy.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • upper stomach pain,
  • loss of appetite,
  • itching,
  • dark urine,
  • vomiting,
  • diarrhea,
  • fever,
  • easy bruising,
  • unusual bleeding,
  • pale skin,
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • cold hands and feet,
  • chills,
  • tiredness,
  • stomach pain,
  • clay-colored stools,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • dizziness,
  • joint pain,
  • back pain,
  • wheezing,
  • flu-like symptoms,
  • sweating,
  • mouth sores,
  • chest pain, and
  • swelling in your hands or feet,
  • rapid weight gain,
  • anxiety,
  • pain when you breathe,
  • skin sores,
  • severe or ongoing nausea,
  • blood in your stools,
  • urinating more or less than usual,
  • gasping for breath,
  • cough with foamy mucus,
  • fast or uneven heart rate
