Bloxiverz (neostigmine methylsulfate) injection is a cholinesterase inhibitor used after surgery to reverse the effects of non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agents.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, and
  • post-operative muscle weakness
The following drugs are related to Bloxiverz, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Prostigmin (neostigmine)
  • Neostigmine Methylsulfate (neostigmine methylsulfate injection)
  • Prevduo (neostigmine methylsulfate and glycopyrrolate injection)
