Blocadren (timolol)

Blocadren (timolol maleate) is a beta-blocker used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). The brand name Blocadren is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • sleep problems (insomnia)
  • decreased sex drive
  • impotence
  • nervousness
  • tired feeling
  • anxiety, or
  • difficulty having an orgasm
