Bleph 10 (sulfacetamide sodium ophthalmic solution 10%)

Bleph-10 (sulfacetamide sodium ophthalmic solution 10%) is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the eyes. Bleph-10 is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • fever,
  • pale skin,
  • confusion,
  • flu-like symptoms,
  • sore throat,
  • easy bruising or bleeding,
  • burning in your eyes, and
  • rapid weight gain, especially in your face and midsection,
  • eye swelling,
  • redness of the eye,
  • severe discomfort of the eye,
  • crusting or drainage from the eye,
  • feeling very irritable,
The following drugs are related to Bleph 10, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Polytrim (polymyxin b sulfate and trimethoprim ophthalmic solution, usp, sterile)
  • Pred Forte (prednisolone acetate ophthalmic suspension)
