Mektovi (binimetinib tablets)

Mektovi (binimetinib) is a kinase inhibitor indicated, in combination with encorafenib, for the treatment of patients with unresectable or metastatic melanoma with a BRAF V600E or V600K mutation, as detected by an FDA-approved test.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • loss of appetite,
  • dark urine,
  • vomiting,
  • pale skin,
  • shortness of breath,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • chest pain,
  • dizziness,
  • headache,
  • weakness,
  • cough,
  • unexplained muscle pain,
  • sudden cough,
  • vision changes,
  • bloody or tarry stools,
  • coughing up blood,
  • vomit that looks like coffee grounds,
  • eye pain or swelling,
  • seeing halos around lights,
  • tenderness,
  • severe skin rash,
  • swelling in your feet or ankles
  • seeing color “dots” in your vision,
  • skin pain or swelling,
  • redness and peeling skin on your hands or feet,
  • pounding heartbeats, and
  • pain or swelling in an arm or leg,
  • cold feeling in an arm or leg,
