Durysta (bimatoprost implant)

Durysta (bimatoprost implant) is a prostaglandin analog used to reduce intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open angle glaucoma (OAG) or ocular hypertension (OHT).

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • blurred vision,
  • headache
  • eye pain,
  • sensitivity to light (photophobia),
  • eye redness,
  • eye irritation,
  • foreign body sensation in the eye,
  • blood in the eye (conjunctival hemorrhage),
  • dry eye,
  • intraocular pressure increased,
  • corneal endothelial cell loss,
  • iritis, and
