Bijuva (estradiol and progesterone capsules)

Bijuva (estradiol and progesterone) is a combination of the female hormones estrogen and progesterone indicated in a woman with a uterus for the treatment of moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms due to menopause.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • vomiting,
  • shortness of breath,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • vision problems,
  • pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
  • constipation,
  • swelling,
  • sweating,
  • chest pain or pressure,
  • muscle weakness,
  • rapid weight gain,
  • sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of the body),
  • slurred speech,
  • coughing up blood,
  • increased thirst or urination,
  • sudden vision loss,
  • unusual vaginal bleeding,
  • sudden severe headache,
  • pain or warmth in one or both legs,
  • lump in your breast,
  • pelvic pain,
  • bone pain, and
  • lack of energy

  • Catapres (clonidine)
  • Duraclon (clonidine injection)
  • Duavee (conjugated estrogens and bazedoxifene tablets)
  • Delestrogen (estradiol valerate)
  • Neurontin (gabapentin)
