Zinplava (bezlotoxumab injection)

Zinplava (bezlotoxumab) injection is a human monoclonal antibody that binds to
Clostridium difficile (C. Diff.) toxin B, indicated to reduce recurrence of
Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) in patients 18 years of age or older who are receiving antibacterial drug treatment of CDI and are at a high risk for CDI recurrence.
The drug is often used to treat Clostridium difficile .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- severe stomach pain,
- shortness of breath
- swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet,
- watery diarrhea,
- rapid weight gain, and
- worsening symptoms of Clostridium difficile infection,
