Bexsero (meningococcal group b vaccine)

Bexsero (Meningococcal Group B Vaccine) is a vaccine indicated for active immunization to prevent invasive disease caused by Neisseria meningitides serogroup B. Bexsero is approved for use in individuals 10 through 25 years of age.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- skin redness,
- headache,
- fatigue,
- muscle pain,
- joint pain
- nausea, and
- pain at the injection site,
- a hard lump where the vaccine was injected,
The following drugs are related to Bexsero, either as a replacement or used together:
- Vaxelis (diphtheria and tetanus toxoids and acellular pertussis adsorbed, inactivated poliovirus, haemophilus b conjugate [meningococcal protein conjugate] and hepatitis b [recombinant] vaccine)
- MenQuadfi (meningococcal (groups a, c, y, w) vaccine for injection)
