Betimol (timolol ophthalmic solution)

Betimol (timolol) Ophthalmic Solution is a beta-blocker used to treat open-angle glaucoma and other causes of high pressure inside the eye.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • lightheadedness,
  • confusion,
  • chest pain,
  • blurred vision,
  • wheezing,
  • muscle weakness,
  • hallucinations,
  • unusual thoughts or behavior,
  • tunnel vision,
  • eye swelling,
  • redness of the eye,
  • numbness or cold feeling in your hands or feet,
  • slow heartbeats,
  • eye pain, and
  • Get medical help right away, if you have any of the symptoms listed above.
  • seeing halos around lights
  • Depressed mood,
  • severe discomfort in the eye,
  • crusting or drainage from the eye,
  • severe stinging or burning after using the eye drops,
