Betaxolol Hydrochloride Ophthalmic (betaxolol hydrochloride)

Betaxolol Hydrochloride Ophthalmic Solution 0.5% is a beta-blocker used to treat
open-angle glaucoma and other causes of high pressure inside the eye. Betaxolol
hydrochloride ophthalmic solution is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • headache
  • burning
  • dizziness
  • stinging
  • dry eyes
  • blurred vision
  • swollen or puffy eyes
  • feeling like something is in your eye
  • spinning sensation
  • depression
  • sleep problems (insomnia)
  • muscle weakness, or
  • altered sense of taste or smell
