Diprolene Ointment (betamethasone dipropionate)

Diprolene (augmented betamethasone dipropionate) is a corticosteroid used to treat a variety of skin conditions (for example, eczema, dermatitis, allergies, rash). Diprolene is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- blurred vision,
- weight gain,
- dry mouth,
- fruity breath odor,
- slow wound healing,
- increased body hair,
- muscle weakness,
- depression,
- eye pain,
- increased thirst or urination,
- tunnel vision,
- seeing halos around lights,
- tired feeling,
- anxiety, and
- severe skin irritation where the medicine was applied,
- signs of skin infection (swelling, redness, warmth, oozing),
- thinning skin,
- puffiness in your face,
- irritableness
