Vascor (bepridil)

type of Calcium Channel Blockers, Non-dihydropyridine

Vascor (bepridil hydrochloride) is a calcium channel blocker used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and to treat angina (chest pain). The brand name Vascor is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • diarrhea,
  • dizziness,
  • constipation,
  • headache,
  • nervousness,
  • upset stomach,
  • unusual fatigue or tiredness,
  • trouble sleeping (insomnia), or
  • tremor (shaking)
