Zonatuss (benzonatate capsules, usp 150 mg)

Zonatuss (benzonatate capsule) is a non-narcotic oral antitussive (anti-cough) drug indicated for the symptomatic relief of cough.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • confusion,
  • drowsiness,
  • hallucinations,
  • severe dizziness,
  • chills, and
  • choking feeling,
  • burning in your eyes
  • ongoing numbness or tingling in your mouth, throat, or face,
  • numbness in your chest,

  • Tessalon (benzonatate capsules)
