Benzagel (benzoyl peroxide gel)

Benzagel (benzoyl peroxide gel) is a topical (for the skin) antibacterial agent that also has a mild drying effect used to treat acne. Benzagel is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- itching,
- burning,
- skin reactions such as peeling,
- irritation,
- stinging,
- tingly feeling,
- dryness,
- flaking, and
- redness, especially at the start of treatment

- Acanya Gel (clindamycin phosphate 1.2% and benzoyl peroxide 2.5%)
- Differin Gel .3% (adapalene)
- Differin Gel .1% (adapalene gel)
- Aktipak (erythromycin 3%-benzoyl peroxide 5% topical gel)
- Onexton (cindamycin phosphate and benzoyl peroxide gel, 1.2%/3.75)
