Bendeka (bendamustine hydrochloride injection)
type of Antineoplastics, Alkylating
Bendeka (bendamustine hydrochloride) Injection is an alkylating drug indicated for treatment of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) that has progressed during or within six months of treatment with rituximab or a rituximab-containing regimen.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- skin rash,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- pale skin,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- cold hands and feet,
- confusion,
- chills,
- tiredness,
- right sided upper stomach pain,
- muscle aches,
- weakness,
- sore throat,
- skin pain,
- mouth sores,
- muscle cramps,
- skin sores,
- burning in your eyes,
- feeling unwell,
- severe weakness,
- yellowing of your skin or eyes (jaundice),
- red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling,
- itching during or shortly after the injection,
- severe ongoing nausea,
- fast or slow heart rate,
- decreased urination, and
- swollen glands,
- pain, swelling, redness, skin changes, or signs infection where the medicine was injected,
- tinging in your hands and feet or around your mouth
