Lotensin (benazepril)

Lotensin (benazepril hydrochloride) is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor used to treat patients with high blood pressure (hypertension). Lotensin is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • headache,
  • lightheadedness,
  • dizziness,
  • vomiting,
  • sleep problems (insomnia),
  • cough,
  • constipation,
  • flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling),
  • skin rash.
