Bellafill (polymethylmethacrylate [PMMA] microspheres) is an implant composed of non-resorbable polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microspheres indicated for the correction of nasolabial folds and moderate to severe, atrophic, distensible facial acne scars on the cheek in patients over the age of 21 years.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • itching,
  • rash,
  • dizziness,
  • swelling or redness at the injection site,
  • injection site sensitivity, and
  • lumps at the injection site
