Baxdela (delafloxacin injection, tablets)

Baxdela (delafloxacin) is a fluoroquinolone antibacterial indicated in adults for the treatment of acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI) caused by designated susceptible bacteria.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- fast heartbeats,
- dizziness,
- seizure,
- headache,
- nervousness,
- sweating,
- agitation,
- muscle weakness,
- severe stomach pain,
- thoughts of self-harm,
- irritability,
- hallucinations,
- paranoia,
- shaking,
- fast heart rate,
- ringing in your ears,
- memory problems,
- diarrhea that is watery or bloody,
- severe headaches,
- trouble concentrating,
- hungers,
- feeling anxious,
- numbness, weakness, tingling, burning pain, in your hands, arms, legs, or feet,
- severe and constant chest pain in your chest, stomach, or back,
- a skin rash (no matter how mild),
- vision problems, and
- pain behind your eyes
