Simulect (basiliximab)

Simulect (basiliximab) is an immunosuppressant drug known as a monoclonal antibody used with other medications to prevent organ rejection after a kidney transplant.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- diarrhea,
- stomach pain,
- constipation,
- sleep problems (insomnia),
- acne,
- headache, or
- pain or redness at the injection site,
- cold symptoms (stuffy nose, sore throat),
- swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet
