Basaglar (basaglar insulin glargine subcutaneous injection)

Basaglar (insulin glargine injection) is a long-acting human insulin
analog indicated to improve glycemic control in adults and pediatric patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus and in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
The drug is often used to treat Type 2 diabetes .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- diarrhea,
- cough,
- itching,
- allergic reactions,
- low blood sugar (hypoglycemia),
- injection site reactions,
- body fat redistribution,
- rash,
- swelling,

weight gain,

upper respiratory tract infection,
- runny or
stuffy nose,

back pain,

urinary tract infection,
- depression, or
- headache.
