Balcoltra (levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets and ferrous bisglycinate tablets) is a progestin/estrogen combined oral contraceptive (COC) indicated for use by females of reproductive potential to prevent pregnancy.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- dark urine,
- shortness of breath,
- confusion,
- rapid breathing,
- fainting,
- increased thirst,
- increased urination,
- mood changes,
- unusual sweating,
- severe dizziness
- sudden dizziness,
- yellowing of the eyes or skin (jaundice),
- new or worsening depression,
- lumps in the breast,
- severe abdominal pain,
- chest, jaw, left arm pain,
- unusual changes in vaginal bleeding (continuous spotting, heavy bleeding),
- pain, swelling, warmth in the groin or calf, and
