Bactroban Cream (mupirocin calcium cream)

Bactroban Cream (mupirocin calcium cream) is an antibiotic used to treat infections of the skin such as impetigo. Some formulations of Bactroban are available in generic form.

The drug is often used to treat Impetigo .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• rash,
• severe itching,
• severe stomach pain,
• diarrhea that is watery or bloody,
• irritation of treated skin,
• unusual skin blistering or peeling, and
• signs of a new skin infection
