Gablofen (baclofen injection)
type of Skeletal Muscle Relaxants
Gablofen (baclofen) is a skeletal muscle relaxant used to treat severe spasticity, a very intense tightness of muscles that may cause pain and uncontrollable spasms of the arms, legs, hands, and feet. Gablofen is also used to manage severe spasticity of cerebral or spinal origin in adult and pediatric patients age 4 years and older.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- rash,
- confusion,
- seizures,
- depression,
- hallucinations,
- vision changes,
- itching, and
- severe dizziness
- mental or mood changes,
- numb or tingling of the skin,
- difficulty urinating,
