Baciguent (bacitracin)

Baciguent (bacitracin ointment) is an antibiotic used for the treatment of superficial ocular (eye) infections involving the conjunctiva and/or cornea caused by bacitracin susceptible organisms.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing, and
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat
The following drugs are related to Baciguent, either as a replacement or used together:
- BACiiM (bacitracin injection powder for solution)
- Neosporin-GU (neomycin sulfate solution for irrigation)
- Neosporin Ophthalmic Ointment (neomycin, polymyxin and bacitracin zinc ophthalmic ointment)
