Zmax (azithromycin)

Zmax (azithromycin extended release) is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat community acquired pneumonia and sinusitis caused by susceptible bacteria.
The drug is often used to treat Pneumonia , Sinusitis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- headache,
- dizziness,
- vomiting,
- sleep problems (insomnia),
- nervousness,
- upset stomach,
- abdominal pain,
- skin rash or itching,
- vaginal itching or discharge,
- tired feeling,
- diarrhea or loose stools,
- ringing in your ears (tinnitus), or
- decreased sense of taste or smell.
