Azilect (rasagiline)
type of Antiparkinson Agents, MAO Type B Inhibitors
Azilect (rasagiline) is a monoamine oxidase-B (MAO-B) inhibitor used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. Azilect is sometimes used with another drug called levodopa.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- headache,
- dizziness,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- constipation,
- skin rash,
- joint pain,
- loss of appetite,
- fever,
- weight loss,
- dry mouth,
- depression,
- muscle pain,
- loss of interest in sex,
- numbness or tingly feeling,

- hair loss,
- flu symptoms.

- stomach upset or abdominal pain,
