Optivar (azelastine hydrochloride)

Optivar (azelastine hydrochloride) is an antihistamine used to treat itchy eyes caused by allergies (hay fever). Optivar is available in generic form.
The drug is often used to treat Hay fever .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- burning,
- itching,
- irritation, or
- temporary stinging,
- discomfort of the eyes for a minute or two when applied.
