Azelex (azelaic acid cream) Cream topical (for the skin) is a naturally occurring acid used to treat acne and rosacea.
The drug is often used to treat Rosacea .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- itching,

- temporary stinging,
- burning,
- drying, or flaking of the skin
