Azasite (azithromycin ophthalmic solution)

Azasite (azithromycin ophthalmic solution) is a semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic used for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis.
The drug is often used to treat Conjunctivitis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- fever,
- sore throat,
- burning eyes,
- skin pain,
- red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling,
- draining or crusting of your eye,
- severe burning, stinging, itching, or other irritation after using the eye drops,
- feeling like something is in your eye,
- changes to the surface of your eye,
- eye pain or swelling,
- eyelid irritation, and
- any signs of a new infection

- Emadine (emedastine difumarate ophthalmic solution)
- Polytrim (polymyxin b sulfate and trimethoprim ophthalmic solution, usp, sterile)
- Sumycin (tetracycline)
- Tobrex (tobramycin ophthalmic ointment)
