Axiron (testosterone topical solution)

Axiron (testosterone) is a male hormone (an androgen) used as a testosterone replacement for men who are testosterone deficient.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- headache,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- weakness,
- mood changes,
- watery eyes,
- skin redness or irritation at the application site,
- breast tenderness,
- increased blood pressure, and
- increased red blood cell count,
- increase in PSA (prostate-specific antigen),
- increase in blood hematocrit,
- increased blood testosterone.
