Bavencio (avelumab injection)
type of PD-1PD-L1 Inhibitors
Bavencio (avelumab) injection is a programmed death ligand-1 (PD-L1) blocking antibody indicated for the treatment of adults and pediatric patients 12 years and older with metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- confusion,
- fluttering in your chest,
- severe headache,
- blurred vision,
- fainting,
- slurred speech,
- high fever,
- sudden dizziness,
- eye pain or swelling,
- sudden vision loss,
- tunnel vision,
- seeing halos around lights,
- fast, irregular, or pounding heartbeats,
- arm or leg weakness,
- trouble walking,
- loss of coordination,
- feeling unsteady,
- very stiff muscles,
- profuse sweating, and
- tremors
