Ridaura (auranofin)

Ridaura (auranofin) is a gold preparation used in the management of adults with active (classical or definite) rheumatoid arthritis who have not responded to adequate trials of conventional anti-inflammatory therapy. Ridaura might also be of benefit in patients with psoriatic arthritis.

The drug is often used to treat Psoriatic arthritis .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • loss of appetite,
  • itching,
  • vomiting,
  • easy bruising,
  • pale skin,
  • shortness of breath,
  • wheezing,
  • unusual tiredness,
  • unusual bleeding (nosebleeds, bleeding gums),
  • puffy eyes,
  • swelling in your ankles or feet,
  • dry cough,
  • purple or red spots under your skin,
  • severe skin rash,
  • sudden chest pain,
  • urine that looks foamy
  • blood in your urine, and
  • black, bloody, or tarry stools,
  • sever or ongoing diarrhea,

  • Lodine (etodolac)
  • Etodolac XR (etodolac extended release)
  • Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine)
  • Inflectra (infliximab-dyyb intravenous injection)

  • PrismaSol Solution (sterile hemofiltration hemodiafiltration solution)
