Ridaura (auranofin)

Ridaura (auranofin) is a gold preparation used in the management of adults with active (classical or definite) rheumatoid arthritis who have not responded to adequate trials of conventional anti-inflammatory therapy. Ridaura might also be of benefit in patients with psoriatic arthritis.
The drug is often used to treat Psoriatic arthritis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- itching,
- vomiting,
- easy bruising,
- pale skin,
- shortness of breath,
- wheezing,
- unusual tiredness,
- unusual bleeding (nosebleeds, bleeding gums),
- puffy eyes,
- swelling in your ankles or feet,
- dry cough,
- purple or red spots under your skin,
- severe skin rash,
- sudden chest pain,
- urine that looks foamy
- blood in your urine, and
- black, bloody, or tarry stools,
- sever or ongoing diarrhea,
