Atacand HCT (candesartan cilexetil-hydrochlorothiazide)

Atacand HCT (candesartan cilexetil - hydrochlorothiazide) Tablets is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and a thiazide diuretic used to treat high blood pressure. Atacand HCT is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• vomiting,
• fever,
• easy bruising,
• unusual bleeding,
• lightheadedness,
• yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
• vision problems,
• fluttering in your chest,
• constipation,
• weakness,
• unusual tiredness,
• muscle weakness,
• dark colored urine,
• confusion, and
• irregular heartbeats,
• eye pain,
• increased thirst or urination,
• loss of coordination,
• muscle pain,
• leg cramps,
• numbness or tingling,
• limp feeling,
• little or no urinating,
• tenderness,
• feeling unsteady
