Astagraf XL (tacrolimus) Extended-Release Capsules is a macrolide immunosuppressant used with other medicines to help prevent organ rejection in people who have had a kidney transplant.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- fever,
- shortness of breath,
- confusion,
- chills,
- tiredness,
- chest pain,
- fluttering in your chest,
- seizure,
- pounding in your neck or ears,
- muscle aches,
- flu-like symptoms,
- sweating,
- weakness,
- cough,
- little or no urination,
- increased thirst,
- increased urination,
- fruity breath odor,
- headaches,
- swelling in your feet or ankles,
- drowsiness,
- irregular heartbeats,
- vision changes,
- fast or pounding heartbeats,
- sudden dizziness,
- hunger,
- general ill feeling,
- pale skin, and
- loss of movement,
- muscle weakness or limp feeling,
- cold hands and feet
- bone pain,
- behavior changes,
- pain or swelling near your transplanted organ,
- jerky muscle movements,
- slow reflexes,
- painful skin sores,
- skin warmth or redness,
