Elspar (asparaginase)

Elspar (asparaginase) is an antineoplastic (anticancer) medication used to treat acute lymphocytic lymphoma.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • loss of appetite,
  • weight loss,
  • headache,
  • drowsiness,
  • depression,
  • irritability
  • skin rash or itching,
  • pain or swelling at the injection site,
  • lack of energy,
  • swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet,
  • nausea or vomiting (may be severe),
  • stomach cramps,
  • tiredness, or
