Strensiq (asfotase alfa) injection is a tissue nonspecific alkaline phosphatase indicated for the treatment of patients with perinatal/infantile-and juvenile-onset hypophosphatasia (HPP).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- dizziness,
- painful or difficult urination,
- vision changes,
- urinating more or less than usual,
- choking sensation,
- pink, red, or brown urine, and
- severe pain in your side or lower back
