Nuvigil (armodafinil)

Nuvigil (armodafinil) is a wakefulness-promoting agent used to treat excessive sleepiness caused by sleep apnea, narcolepsy, or shift work sleep disorder.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • headache,
  • diarrhea,
  • nervousness,
  • upset stomach,
  • dry mouth,
  • anxiety,
  • dizziness, and
  • difficulty sleeping (insomnia).
