Aralen (chloroquine)

Aralen (chloroquine phosphate) is an antimalarial drug used to treat and to prevent malaria. It is also used to treat infections caused by amoebae. Aralen is available in generic form.
The drug is often used to treat Malaria .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- upper stomach pain,
- fever,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- fluttering in your chest,
- seizure,
- sore throat,
- skin pain,
- fast or pounding heartbeats,
- sudden dizziness,
- burning in your eyes,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes
- loss of coordination,
- red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling,
- swelling in your face or throat,
- troubling focusing your eye,
- light streaks or flashes in your vision,
- swelling or color changes in your eyes,
- trouble reading or seeing objects,
- hazy vision,
- severe muscle weakness,
- underactive reflexes,
- hearing loss,
- ringing in the ears,
- loss of appetite, and
