Apresoline (hydralazine)

Apresoline (hydralazine hydrochloride) is an antihypertensive drug indicated for treatment of hypertension by relaxing vascular smooth muscle. The brand name Apresoline is no longer available in the U.S. Generic versions may be available.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- headache,
- dizziness,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- muscle or joint pain,
- constipation,
- loss of appetite,
- anxiety,
- runny or stuffy nose, or
- anorexia,
- pounding or fast heartbeat,
- itching or skin rash.
