Apresazide (hydralazine HCI and hydrochlorothiazide) is an antihypertensive-diuretic combination used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). The brand name Apresazide is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.

This drug may have the following side effects:

  • chest pain
  • dizziness
  • loss of appetite
  • heart palpitations
  • pounding/fast heartbeat
  • or abdominal pain as your body adjusts to the medication.
