Aponvie (aprepitant injectable emulsion)
type of Antiemetic Agents, NK1 Receptor Antagonists
Aponvie (aprepitant) is a substance P/neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptor antagonist, indicated for the prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) in adults.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- fever,
- fatigue,
- burning eyes,
- swelling around your eyes and lips,
- swelling in the eyes,
- abdominal cramping,
- sores in your mouth or throat,
- skin pain, and
- red or purple rash with blisters that peels
