Aplisol (tuberculin purified protein derivative)

Aplisol (tuberculin purified protein derivative, diluted [stabilized solution]) is a purified protein fraction used as an aid in the detection of infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • reactions at the test site (pain, itching, discomfort. blisters, ulceration, or tissue death),
  • scarring at the test site (in strong positive test reactions)
  • local hypersensitivity reactions (redness, itching, swelling, hives, and rash), and
  • systemic allergic reactions (including rash, hives, skin swelling, itching, and anaphylaxis)

  • Avelox (moxifloxacin hcl)
  • Capastat Sulfate (capreomycin for injection)

  • Myambutol (ethambutol)
  • IsonaRif (sulfamethoxazole)
  • Levaquin (levofloxacin)
  • Priftin (rifapentine)
  • Rifadin (rifampin)
  • Rimactane (rifamycin capsules)
  • Streptomycin (streptomycin)
